Join us for an unforgettable 24 hours of giving this Leap Year. If you accept, your challenge is to raise as much as you can for Bliss on Thursday 29th February 2024.

An extra day in the year means an extra day of neonatal care is needed across the UK. Make your extra day extraordinary - Leap for Bliss this February and help Bliss to support babies born premature or sick.

What do I need to do for Leap for Bliss?

You’ve got 24 hours on Thursday 29 February 2024 to raise as much as you can for Bliss.

This challenge is flexible to suit you, but we have loads of amazing ideas on our website and in our handy fundraising toolkit (downloads as a PDF) to get your creativity flowing.

How much do I need to raise?

Any amount of money raised is incredible and will help us support babies born premature or sick. With 1 in 7 babies born in the UK each year being admitted onto neonatal units, we need your support now more than ever.

Not only that, by joining Leap for Bliss you will:

  1. Transform lives: Your participation directly contributes to our mission of supporting babies needing neonatal care in the UK.
  2. Challenge yourself: There's no challenge more demanding than a 24-hour one. Digital Detox? Movie Marathon?

Why not set yourself a 24-hour challenge and ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you, stream your challenge live on YouTube, Twitch or Facebook to let people know how you are getting on and encourage donations!

Some ideas:

  • Tech detox – no phones, no screens. Go offline.
  • Gaming marathon - choose your favourite game or games and play all day.
  • Nonstop knitting – share this amongst a group of friends and family and do a few hours each.
  • Distance-based physical challenge - walk, jog, run, roll, cycle or swim. Hop, jump, skip or leap.
  • Boxing challenge - tag in your friends and take it in turns in the ring.
  • Football match - 5-a-side or full 11-a-side.
  • Movie marathon - how many films can you watch?
