What happens during the video call?
The video call will be a one-to-one conversation with a Bliss volunteer.
During one of our pre-arranged, 30 minute conversations you will speak to a volunteer who is trained to understand neonatal care and experienced in supporting families.
The call is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your experience or just to talk to someone who understands some of what you might be going through.
Who is it for?
The service is for anyone with a baby either on the unit or who has recently been discharged. This includes grandparents and other family members. You can arrange a call at any time on your neonatal journey, from when you first arrive on the unit to when you are about to leave, and after you’ve gone home.
