We are looking for parents and carers with a neonatal experience to give feedback on our website.

Thank you for your interest in helping to improve our website - all spaces for this opportunity have now been filled. To find out about other involvement opportunities, visit the Bliss social media channels.

Can you spare around 1 hour in November 2023 to take part in research to help us improve our website?

Your input will help us to improve our website experience for parents, carers and families of premature and sick babies.

We're recruiting a diverse group of parents and carers who have recently had a baby (within the past 2-3 years) to join an online session, so we can better support all families who need our help.

We want to hear from all families, but especially from those who have been affected by health inequalities, Black, Asian or other ethnic minority groups, parents and carers under 25 and those on low incomes.

As a small "thank you" we're offering everyone who takes part a £25 gift card, which can be used at over 100 stores, some online and some in-store.

Want to volunteer? Please complete the short form in the link below.

You can also find out more about the research below.

Why are we doing this research?

It is really important to us to provide a simple and effective user journey for everyone coming to our website.

Bliss is committed to ensuring that all parents of babies born premature or sick can access the information and support that they need at the time that they need it, regardless of who they are or where they are in their neonatal journey.

As a charity we also rely on the support of donors, fundraisers and volunteers so are always looking for ways to improve our website to enable and inspire people to take action in aid of Bliss.

Your input will help us to shape the look and feel of our website to give a better experience to parents, carers and supporters visiting the site.

How will it work?

We will book a 1-hour timeslot with you in November 2023, to take part in an online session.

Discussions in the session will be 1:1 with you and a Bliss member of staff, where we will invite you to use the Bliss website, give you some scenarios and ask you some questions about your website experience.

We will take you through everything on the day, you do not need to prepare.

You do not need to have any prior knowledge of our website or of websites in general in order to take part.

What you will need to do on the day

  • Be on a stable WiFi connection (not a mobile connection).
  • Have a clear 1 hour for the agreed time slot.
  • Share your experience and opinions with us.
  • There are no wrong answers - everything you tell us is helpful.
