Our research panel

Members of research panel sat around a table talking

We have worked with an independent panel of parents, someone who was born premature and neonatal health professionals to identify areas and research questions that would benefit most from Bliss’ funding.

Our research panel, made up of both public members and healthcare professionals, have helped identify three areas of priority in our research strategy.

The first award from our new research fund has been granted, also thanks to our research panel. The panel reviewed applications to ensure that they fit Bliss’ strategy, were achievable and would contribute new knowledge that will make a tangible difference to the lives of babies who are born premature or sick.

We will continue to work with our research panel to oversee the progress of the project at the University of Oxford that was awarded our first research fund.
