Charity place participants: Terms and conditions

By registering for a Bliss charity place at a challenge event you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

  • You are pledging to raise the fundraising pledge (excluding Gift Aid) for Bliss for the event you have signed up for. The exact pledge amount and deadline(s) will be specified when you register on the website and in your welcome email.
  • You pledge that the full raised amount will be with the charity 4 weeks after the event date. If you are applying for a London Marathon place, it will be 8 weeks after the event date.
  • For some events you will be required to raise an initial agreed portion of your target by the date set out by Bliss. This deadline will be specified when you register and in your welcome email. If you are unable to demonstrate by this date a commitment to meeting your fundraising target you understand that may result in you being withdrawn from the event.
  • Once your place has been confirmed, Bliss requires a registration fee payment for your place. The amount of this fee will be specified when you register on the website and in your welcome email. You acknowledge the registration fee you have paid is non-refundable, cannot be used towards your sponsorship pledge, and cannot be rolled over to next year’s event or another event.
  • Bliss reserves the right to refuse an application at its absolute discretion.
  • You must meet the minimum age requirement set by the event organisers to take place. For more information on age requirements for specific events, please email events@bliss.org.uk
  • You must contact Bliss immediately if you think you are going to be unable to participate.
  • If you are unable to participate in the event for any reason, all donated monies collected in support of Bliss must be forwarded to the charity or returned to the individual sponsors. Monies already received by the charity will not be refunded.
  • Bliss does not take responsibility for any health issues during your training for the event or any incidents that occur on race day. If you have any health concerns prior to, or during, your training please consult with your doctor.
  • By signing up to a charity place with Bliss, you are consenting to Bliss using any images of you in their promotional materials. Please contact us in advance of the event if you are unhappy with this arrangement.
  • When Bliss establishes contact described as "urgent", runners must respond via email/telephone/in writing as quickly as possible.

Please return to the registration form tab in your browser and complete your application to this event.
