Chiesi is an Italian, family-owned company which also has a large number of employees in the UK.
Established in 1935, Chiesi concentrates primarily on developing respiratory, cardiovascular and neonatological drugs, in particular surfactant drugs used to help premature babies breathe.
Chiesi has been partnered with Bliss since early 2018. Most recently in 2025, Chiesi provided a grant towards a print run of our flagship resource, 'Going Home' that will provide parents leaving the neonatal unit information and support at such an anticipated, yet often frightening time.
