Baby Charter Psychosocial Advisory Group

Bliss volunteer with family members and baby looking at information together in a neonatal unit

Find out about how you can support the Bliss Baby Charter by joining our Baby Charter Psychosocial Advisory Group.

What does the Psychosocial Advisory Group do?

As part of the Bliss Baby Charter process, we work with units to improve the psychosocial support that is available to families on their unit. All units must provide evidence of this support before they can achieve their Silver or Gold Award.

To assist us with this we have an advisory group who look through the evidence provided by units, offering recommendations for improvements, or asking for further information.

Who are we looking for?

We would like to hear from you if you work in a psychosocial capacity in a neonatal unit or within a network in one of the following roles:

  • clinical psychologist
  • psychotherapist
  • counsellor
  • family support worker

How to join

We are actively recruiting new members. If you are interested in joining the advisory group, or would like further information, please email us at babycharter@bliss.org.uk
