An application is not a guarantee of a Gold Bond Place. Your application will be considered and scored by the Bliss Events Team and Gold Bond Places will be offered based on this outcome. All applicants will receive correspondence to let them know whether they have been successful.
Bliss reserves the right to refuse an application at its absolute discretion.
You are encouraged to also enter the official Ballot run by the Event Organisers, and let us know as soon as possible if you are successful in receiving a Ballot place.

If the fee is not paid within 14 days of the date of the offer, the Bliss Events Team will assume you are no longer interested in participating in the Event and you risk losing your place.

You will be sent information to formally register with the Event Organisers on their Registration Console using your Bliss Charity Gold Bond Place. You commit to completing this information in a timely manner and by any deadlines set by the Event Organisers, or risk forfeiting your place.

Withdrawals and Removal from the Team
Withdrawals
‘Withdrawal’ means that the participant chooses to remove themself from the event due to personal circumstances, including injury.
I agree that if I need to withdraw from the Event, I will let the Bliss Events Team know in writing as soon as possible.
I understand that Bliss Charity retains full control over its Gold Bond places and if I withdraw from the Event prior to the console deadline set by the Event Organisers, Bliss can offer my place to another runner.
I agree that I will pay in all sponsorship to Bliss Charity raised up to and including the date of my withdrawal, subject to informing my donors that I am no longer participating in the Event and that they may, if they wish, have their sponsorship money returned to them.
If this is the first time you have withdrawn from the Event, Bliss Charity agrees to defer your entry for 1 year until the TCS 2028 London Marathon, should you request this and subject to the number of Gold Bond places allocated by the Event Organisers and subject to any increase in Fundraising Target. You must confirm this decision in writing with the Bliss Events Team no later than 1 October 2026.
If you have withdrawn from the Event on more than one occasion, you will be asked to re-apply to join Team Bliss. Bliss Charity will only permit further deferral of your entry under exceptional circumstances and subject to any additional registration fee that may be payable.

This is an exceptional measure, and Bliss will inform you of our concerns and attempt to resolve the situation as much as possible.
I understand that if I am removed from the Event, my entry will not be deferred, and I may not be eligible to participate in any future challenge events offered by Bliss Charity.
