London Marathon application form

London Marathon application form

Thank you very much for your interest in running the Virgin Money London Marathon for Bliss

Please complete the form below in as much detail as possible to apply for your place in Team Bliss

We will contact you to let you know if you have been successful in your application. If you are then we will ask you to pay a registration fee of £50.

As well as applying to join Team Bliss, please do also enter the London Marathon ballot (if you haven't done so already) because that way you can help Bliss have the biggest team possible.

If you apply for a ballot place as well as applying to run for Bliss then, when results are announced in October, you may be lucky enough to get a ballot place. In that case, we'll be able to refund your registration fee, you can still run for Team Bilss and your charity place will go to someone on our waiting list

Running for Bliss

We'd love to know more about how you found out we had places available for this event.
We'd love to know a bit more about what motivated you to apply to run for Bliss.
Are you raising funds in memory of a loved one?
If you would like to find out more about setting up a tribute fund please contact events@bliss.org.uk for further information.

Bliss requires you to agree to a sponsorship pledge of £2,500 for your London Marathon place.

Please give as much detail as possible about your fundraising plans. Remember that fundraising is not limited to asking people for sponsorship!
i.e. whatever amount of money you raise your company will double or make a contribution
Please give details.
Do you know anyone who already has a guaranteed place looking to run for a charity? Or are you fundraising with someone who has?

If so we would love to hear from them as they can join the Bliss team and get all the same support as a charity place runner. Plus if they are already helping you we would love to be able to thank them too.

  • You must be 18 years or over on the day of the race.
  • If you are unable to participate in the event for any reason, all donated monies collected in support of Bliss must be forwarded to the charity or returned to the individual sponsors. Monies already received by the charity will not be refunded.
