PremPath site 4

PremPath is a research study looking at how care for babies born prematurely (before 37 weeks of pregnancy) in England is working in practice and how to improve it.

We are doing this by:

• Looking at NHS documents and procedures

Observing staff caring for babies, parents and families

• Interviewing NHS staff

• Interviewing parents of preterm infants after discharge

If you are present during PremPath observations, the researcher may hear information that could identify you or you baby. This will not be recorded. Our findings will help people who develop services to know how to improve the quality of care for premature babies in the future. Find out more in the participant information sheet.
