Campaign with us

Campaigners outside parliament

Campaigning is a great way to make a difference to babies born premature or sick and their families. By working with your local politicians and NHS Trust you can influence decision makers on a whole range of issues.

There are lots of ways you can campaign with us, and you are welcome to do as much or as little as you like – even small contributions can make a massive difference. We have three different options for campaigning – you can sign up to as many of them as you want!

• Online campaigning
• Campaigning in your community

Online campaigning

Campaigning online is the quickest and easiest way to get involved. By signing up, your voice will be joining the voices of thousands of others, all working to make our campaigns stronger. You’ll receive regular email updates full of campaign news and opportunities to get involved: from writing to your local politicians, inputting your views into Bliss' policy responses, to taking part in surveys and social media campaigns.

Campaign in your community

If you have a bit more time to spare, you might want to work actively in your local area to build a relationship with your MP and NHS Trust by joining our growing group of campaigners who work in their community to improve support and care for babies born premature or sick where they live. We will support you every step of the way, and help you shape your campaigning and work out your next steps.

Keep an eye out for our handy campaign resources coming online soon! In the meantime, why not find out why some of our campaigners find campaigning in their community so fulfilling.

Meet your MP

MPs often want to meet local families or people who have had a neonatal experience to hear about the issues that affected them locally. If you think campaigning in your local community might be a little bit too much, but still want the opportunity to meet your MP, you can be added to our list of supporters across the country who we will call upon if their MP wants to arrange a meeting with someone in their local area.
