Fundraise for World Prematurity Day

Make a difference on World Prematurity Day 2020 and fundraise for Bliss to give every baby born premature in the UK the best chance of survival and quality of life.

Taking place on 17 November, World Prematurity Day is a global movement to raise awareness of premature birth.

Take part and organise an event on a neonatal unit, or fundraise as an individual or in your community. Find out below how you can get involved.

We are calling on you to...

Light up the night with Bliss Little Lights

Take part in a magical lantern-lit walk. Host your own sponsored walk on Saturday 14 November according to local Government guidelines, so that we can safely light up the night across the UK for babies born premature or sick together.

Visit our Little Lights page to find out more and sign up.

Host a Bliss PrematuriTEA party

Whether you are fundraising virtually, on a neonatal unit or at home, put the kettle on, Bake for Bliss and serve up a celebration tea party with a difference.

Sign up below and we can send you our fantastic Bake for Bliss pack with all you need to host your tea party and bake sale.

What else can I do?

You could also wear purple for World Prematurity Day and ask everyone to donate £1 to wear something purple on your neonatal unit, workplace or school. Or if you want to do something different and do your own thing that's great, let us know what you have planned.

Sign up below and we can send you a free fundraising pack to help.

We chose to join in with Little Lights and raise funds for this great charity and make WPD extra special. It was lovely to see so many recent and older babies. We raised £355.00 for Bliss.
