Current Bliss Champion opportunities

Here at Bliss, we stagger our recruitment and open applications for Bliss Champions in each region 6 weeks before the workshop dates for that region. Find out where we are currently recruiting and how to apply below.

How do I apply?

If you are interested in any of the volunteer placements below, and can attend the two day workshop in Edinburgh on 11 and 12 June or Liverpool on 4 and 5 July follow these four steps below to apply:

  1. Read the full role description
  2. Ensure your hospital is on the list of vacancies below
  3. Complete and submit your application form
  4. Fill out the anonymous diversity monitoring form

Please note that the forms open a new window and you will have to return to this page to complete the other parts of your application.

If you haven't heard back from us within two weeks, please give us a call on 020 7378 1122.

Don’t see your local unit on the list? Don’t worry, we regularly add new opportunities, so stay tuned. You can hear about recruitment updates on the Bliss Facebook page, Twitter, and Instagram so don't forget to follow us. If your local hospital is in a different part of the country, we will open recruitment 6 weeks before the workshop in each region.

In order to become a Bliss Champion, you must complete the Bliss Volunteer Learning Programme which includes self-guided online learning at home and attendance of a two day workshop. The programme will give you the knowledge and skills to start your volunteering role with confidence. You’ll learn who Bliss is, what we do and how you can provide inclusive, tailored support to families to make a real difference to their neonatal experience.
