Join Team Bliss for The 2.6  Challenge to help premature and sick babies.

The effects of COVID-19 are being felt all over the world, and the neonatal community is no exception. We've had a 50% increase in demand for our services to help premature and sick babies, but with events like the Virgin Money London Marathon being postponed, income we rely on from our amazing Team Bliss fundraisers is no longer coming in. Can you help save our services by taking on the 2.6 challenge?

Anyone can take on the challenge, all you need to do is dream up an activity based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 that suits your skills. You could hold the plank for 2.6 minutes, run up and down the stairs 26 times or garden for 26 minutes. This is a challenge for all ages and abilities and you can do it at home or as part of your daily exercise.

How do I sign up?

  1. Dream up your 2.6 Challenge
  2. Create your JustGiving page for Bliss or donate £26 yourself
  3. Ask all your friends and family to sponsor you
  4. Complete your 2.6 challenge and share it on social media #TwoPointSixChallenge @blisscharity

What can I do for the 2.6 Challenge?

The 2.6 Challenge can be any activity you like – from running or riding 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 of your friends.

It could be something as simple as running laps of your garden for 2.6 miles, 26 minutes of yoga or juggling for 26 minutes - or on second thoughts, maybe just 2.6 minutes! You could even read 26 books or bake 26 cupcakes.

There are no rules (apart from the Government guidelines on how to exercise safely during this time). Whatever you can do, you can be part of it – the main thing is getting active, having fun and donating whatever you can to help Bliss continue to help premature and sick babies.
