Senior Human Resources Officer

Bliss is looking for a Senior Human Resources Officer to join the busy Finance and Operations Team.

About the role

Bliss exists to ensure that every baby born premature or sick in the UK has the best chance of survival and quality of life.

As the sole dedicated HR post at Bliss, this is a varied and interesting role at our small and friendly organisation. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you will be the first point of contact regarding all aspects of human resources at Bliss and be responsible for managing all the day-to-day HR tasks.

Experience of delivering a broad range of HR services is essential. You will be able to manage your time effectively across a number of different tasks simultaneously, placing a high emphasis on quality, accuracy, flexibility and efficiency. You will also be able to provide sound advice to senior management and staff, build effective working relationships, use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others and be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.

In addition to managing the day-to-day HR function there is the opportunity in this role to develop your skills in wider workforce development and strategy, and this role would particularly suit someone who is ambitious to take on opportunities of this kind.

This is a part-time flexible role (24-28 hours per week). For more information on the role please see the job description, which includes the person specification.
