Senior Communications Officer

Bliss is looking for a Senior Communications Officer to join our ambitious team.

About the role

Bliss is an award winning, digital first organisation looking for a creative and ambitious communications specialist to join our team.

The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for delivering the Communications Team central plan of work and coordinating communications across Bliss, ensuring best use of the brand.

As a communications expert, you will support the marketing of services, events and information and oversee the delivery of mass marketing emails, making recommendations based on knowledge, evidence and sector examples.

You’ll also develop the Communications Team’s ways of working, contribute to the development of Bliss’ brand identity and line manage the Communications Assistant.

As the Editor of Little Bliss magazine, experience of content production is essential. You’ll have at least two years’ experience in a communications role and be able to manage your time effectively across a number of different tasks, placing a high emphasis on quality and accuracy.

This role is varied and demanding but it offers the opportunity to work on multiple creative projects, deliver impactful and meaningful communications for the families of premature and sick babies and play a vital role in the development and delivery of our new three-year strategy (2019-2022).
