We are looking for a Baby Charter Officer who will continue to develop our Bliss Baby Charter programme with neonatal units in the UK.

Role Summary

Bliss is looking for a Baby Charter Officer to join our Healthcare Engagement team, who will continue to develop our Bliss Baby Charter programme with neonatal units across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Baby Charter aims to support neonatal healthcare professionals by improving parental involvement in their baby’s care, otherwise known as family-centred care.

You will join a small, passionate and friendly team. In this role:

  • You will support neonatal units to change their practice to ensure parents/families are as involved as possible in the care of their baby
  • You will be involved in assessing neonatal units against national standards using the Baby Charter audit tool
  • You will be promoting family-centred care and celebrating best practice

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who is highly organised, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive solutions oriented approach, excellent IT skills, experience of working with websites and databases, and enjoy working collaboratively across teams.
