Bliss is looking for a highly motivated empathic project manager who will continue to deliver our flagship program of the Bliss Baby Charter. This person must be enthusiastic and passionate about bringing quality care onto the neonatal unit. They must have good project management skills but also have the understanding of the pressures of working in the NHS as they will be dealing with neonatal units on a daily basis. They must be able to communicate with all levels of health professionals as well as parents, being able to empathise whilst at the same time working to a specific project plan.
Aims of the role:
1. To drive change and practice across the neonatal networks in the UK through the delivery of an audit programme that will lead to nationally recognised accreditation. This will support the need to meet national standards driving up levels of care delivered premature and sick babies with significant impact on their long term outcomes.
2. A key strand of the Bliss Baby Charter Programme is the involvement of parents who come from and are representative of the local community of each network, working with staff at their local units to contribute to the improvement in standards of family centred care. The design of the Bliss Baby Charter encourages parents and units to work together to achieve these improvements thus improving relations and understanding between the patient groups and the staff at the units.
3. The Baby Charter aims to improve the quality of care for every baby in the UK born premature or sick.
