One to one nursing campaign

Why is it that a child or adult admitted to intensive care can expect one to one nursing care, but a baby cannot?

Experts say that premature and sick babies in intensive care need one to one nursing care as a minimum.  But only a handful of hospitals say they have the nurses to provide this level of care.  Bliss believes that this is not fair and that all babies deserve the best possible start in life.

Can you help us save neonatal nursing jobs?

We need your help on 9 November to ensure that frontline neonatal services are safe and staffed to deliver the best possible care for our vulnerable babies.

Bliss is worried that NHS cost savings are impacting on neonatal nursing posts. Help us voice these concerns to your MP at our first ever Westminster lobby event on 9 November in the House of Commons. If you’d like more information or to take part in this unique event please email sarah@bliss.org.uk

Bliss is leading a coalition of groups who agree and are calling upon the Government and healthcare providers for action to address this situation.
