Tiny togs for tiny tots campaign

Baby clothes

Around 7,000 babies will be born needing specialist care over Christmas 2010. These babies will be too tiny to fit into regular baby clothes.

Through our Tiny togs campaign we are asking for your help, by knitting and sewing clothing and blankets, which we’ll send to special care baby units around the UK.

Knitting woolWe are providing the following:

  • Specialist patterns to download each month
  • Top tips from the experts
  • Access to our knitting and sewing messageboard

Bliss has produced a series of guidelines on clothing for premature and sick babies, which have been approved by professionals working in neonatal care. This will ensure that donated clothes are appropriate for vulnerable babies. Items donated will be sent on to units all over the UK in time for Christmas.

We do ask that you make a minimum donation of £5 to help cover our costs when you are sending in your items. Please also ensure you send us your name and address details so that we can let you know your items have arrived safely.
