Bliss’ Neonatal Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding individuals, teams and projects that make a difference to babies born premature or sick through delivering high quality family-centred care as part of The Bliss Baby Charter.
Family-centred care places babies and parents at the heart of the care they receive on the neonatal unit, ensuring that parents are empowered and supported to look after their baby in a supportive environment.
The Bliss Baby Charter (hyperlink the Bliss Baby Charter) was designed to standardise high quality family-centred care across the UK. It is a practical framework for hospitals to ensure facilities, information and support are in place to encourage parents to be with their baby as much as possible.
On Monday, 12th March Bliss will be recognising the winners of the Bliss’ Neonatal Excellence Awards for outstanding achievements in family-centred care.
The awards have been made possible through the generosity of our sponsors (blank, blank and blank).
You can nominate outstanding individuals, teams and projects via our online form (hyperlink online form). All nominees must come from a hospital that is working towards their Bliss Baby Charter Accreditation. Find out if your local hospital is talking part by looking at the Bliss Baby Charter map (insert link to the map).
The Award categories are:

This award recognises a project or initiative that improves outcomes for babies through excellent family-centred care.
