Memories are important to us all, but there comes a time in everyone’s life when they mean more than ever. Marie, co-founder of West London memory business Meminio says “Losing my mum at such a young age didn’t really affect me.” “I had no memory of life with mum and so didn’t really suffer a loss. That was until I became a parent myself. It was only then that I realised how hard it must have been for my mum to know she would never see me or my sister grow up.”
The concept of meminio first struck Marie when she found a vintage suitcase case in her grandmother’s home. She began using it to store her daughter’s precious keepsakes. Alison, after a life changing event, had also been thinking about ways to keep and share memories with her children.
Alison and Marie decided to launch Meminio in early 2016. Family has always been at the heart of everything they do, their first Memory Cases ensured that children were celebrated within the home in a unique and beautiful way.
Alison and Marie have received lots of interest from parents of babies born premature or sick who want to be able to capture their special experience that they have decided to partner with Bliss.
Meminio will be donating 10% of all sales when using the code BLISS.
