Have you ever wondered…?
As part of World Prematurity Day we will be answering some of your questions about how premature babies develop and grow in the neonatal unit, with the help of developmental care expert, Inga Warren.
Developmental care looks at how the way we care for babies affects their wellbeing and development. Inga has travelled across the world teaching nurses, doctors and therapists to understand babies’ behaviors and involve parents in caring for their baby.
You may have wondered…
- Does my baby know me?
- How can I tell if my baby is in pain?
- What can I do to help my baby feel comfortable?
- Do light and noise affect my babies’ development?
If you would like to know more from Inga about developmental care, what it is, why is important for your baby and how you can be more involved in caring for your baby please send us your questions for Inga. Email us at HCP@bliss.org.uk
