Once your baby has left the unit, you may need to attend follow-up appointments for various aspects of your child’s health and development. Some people find it very helpful to write down the advice given to them in their baby’s red book.
Sometimes, follow-up appointments can mount up. They can take up a lot of time and be very tiring, especially if you have to travel long distances to and from the hospital. If you are having trouble managing the number of appointments you have to attend, ask your health visitor to reorganise some of them if possible.
