FINE Foundation Toolkit

At Bliss, we know that a family centred developmental approach has better outcomes for babies in neonatal care. Effective use of this approach means less stress for babies, shorter hospital stays and better long terms outcomes. Parents feel more involved in the care of their babies and relationships between hospital staff and parents are strengthened.

The Family and Infant Neuro-developmental Education (FINE) programmes cover topics including:

  • Preterm brain, postural and sensory development
  • Parent infant relationship and parent’s journey
  • Observing infant behaviour and understanding babies’ cues
  • Kangaroo care

To register please complete and return an application form should you wish to attend the one of the next training events.
