Since 2009 Bliss has been thrilled to work with Emma’s Diary, a website that offers advice and resources for new mums. So far, the partnership has raised a fantastic £13,500.
Written in conjunction with the Royal College of General Practitioners, Emma’s Diary is the UK’s number one pregnancy guide providing new mums with invaluable information and resources; from a week-by-week diary of what to expect during pregnancy, to free gift packs distributed at key stages during pregnancy and once your baby is born. Emma’s Diary also has a growing community of mums-to-be and new mums who support each other through this unique, exciting and sometimes daunting time in their lives.
As a charity partner of Bliss, Emma’s Diary has distributed our mobile phone recycling bags in its packs, helping us raise an incredible £10,500. Emma’s Diary Managing Director, David Castle, also got personally involved by holding a golf day, which added a further £3,000 to their total.
David said: “Bliss is doing fantastic work in supporting babies and their families at a critical time in their lives, and we are delighted to provide a platform to enable their fundraising endeavours.”
The money raised by Emma’s Diary will help Bliss continue our work supporting the 80,000 babies born too soon, too small or too sick each year in the UK, as well as their families.
Bliss is grateful for the support Emma’s Diary has given us since 2009. Their amazing fundraising efforts have helped us to reach more families and provide support to them at what can be a challenging time in their lives.
Over the coming months, Emma’s Diary will be continuing to help raise much needed awareness for Bliss, helping to ensure that more parents of premature and sick babies, or concerned expectant mums, can get the help and support they need.
