Bliss is excited to be working with the True Colours Trust, a charity supporting disabled and terminally-ill children, to provide over £250,000 in Bliss Baby Charter Grants.
The Bliss Baby Charter Grants Fund is awarded to neonatal units caring for premature and sick babies, to help them improve their family-friendly facilities for parents and their families. To be eligible to apply for a grant, units must have completed the Bliss Baby Charter Audit Tool, a toolkit developed by Bliss, to help hospitals caring for premature and sick babies, assess the quality of family-centred care they provide and identify areas for improvement.
Units can apply for a small grant (up to £1,000) or a large grant (up to £10,000). Only one application per neonatal unit will be awarded by the Fund in any 12 month period - we therefore encourage staff and parents to think carefully about their proposal. If a unit is not successful in their initial application, they are invited to apply again as part of a different round.
