Run for team Bliss

23 January 2014

Would you like to raise money for babies born premature or sick across the UK?

If you’ve been lucky enough to secure a place in the London Marathon through the ballot or you qualified for a good for age place then why not join Bliss’ team?

Team Bliss has a lot to offer – you’ll have access to our marathon trainer to help you with any and all of your training needs, you’ll receive an invitation to our post-race reception on the marathon day to thanks you for all of your hard work as well as a stylish Bliss vest to make sure you look your best on the big day. All we ask if that you raise as much as you can!

You’ll be making a real difference to the families of babies who are born too soon, too small, too sick by helping bliss raise vital funds for its Bliss Nurses programme. Our first Bliss Nurse started in June 2011 and it is our aim to have at least 28 Bliss Nurses in post by 2020. Bliss Nurses provide a non-clinical role focused solely on supporting the families of premature and sick babies, helping them to cope with the stress and anxiety that often accompanies their baby’s condition. The services they provide are vital to these babies and their families and are only possible with your support.
