Bliss has launched a new partnership with The Bereavement Care Network, created by the Royal College of Midwives and Sands – the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.
The online network, created specifically for health care professionals, aims to enhance the knowledge, insight and understanding around bereavement and bereavement care following the death of a baby. It enables professionals to share best practice, exchange ideas, share experiences, ask questions and seek informal peer support, therefore supporting professionals to deliver the best possible bereavement care by keeping users informed of relevant developments, research and resources.
Bliss will be joining the network, alongside several other charities, as part of their new strategy to expand and reach more professionals. We will be contributing regular content to increase professional confidence in handling bereavement and will also be using the network to actively signpost health professionals to further information and support.
The official launch of the newly expanded network will take place at the Uncertainty and Loss conference on Thursday 15 September.
If you have any questions about the network, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
