On Sunday 16 March Andy Cole, Bliss’ Chief Executive, took to the skies to raise money for babies born too soon, too small, too sick. Andy has been Chief Executive at Bliss since September 2006, and has seen the charity grow and help more special care babies and their families around the UK.
Andy said: “The jump was amazing – though my body seemed to leave my stomach behind on the plane. The freefall drop was fairly intense, but the ride down with the parachute open was stunning, as I had a lovely clear day and a great instructor. I might even do it again!”
If you’re tempted to take the plunge and complete a skydive of your own why not take part in Skyfall for Bliss? Its a one day event where Bliss supporters will get together to skydive, raising money for babies born too soon, too small, too sick. Or you can take part in a skydive any time during the year.
