This annual conference, now in its eighth year is proudly hosted by Bliss, Sands, and The Royal College of Midwives. It is firmly established as the leading educational event within the UK, improving the knowledge base of health professionals better to respond to critical illness, loss and bereavement in the delivery of maternity and neonatal care.
This year’s event builds on the foundations of the first conference in 2009 which recognised the need for additional support for professionals, both in and out of the workplace. Following the first conference, the host organisations launched an online network to facilitate information exchange and peer to peer support. This network has now been re-launched as the Bereavement Care Network.
The programme this year presents discussion from a wide range of practitioners on essential topics and includes parents talking about their experiences.
Registration fees: £80 for students, £105 voluntary sector, £135 voluntary sector-funded health practitioners and managers, £155 standard rate health practitioners and managers. For further information and booking details please see the programme (PDF).
